Sea Fever and Compass Rose left Green Turtle Cay on Wed 4/18, and headed around Whale Cay and on to Treasure Cay. We had planned to head to Great Guana Cay and stay there at least thru Sunday so we could go to the famous Nippers Pig Roast, but the weather is looking very iffy, starting Saturday, through Monday- with potential for heavy T-storms and possibly 40-50 knot wind gusts. SO... we are now anchored in the 'protected from all sides' anchorage off the Treasure Key resort.
We got to Treasure Cay about 12:30 Wed., and headed ashore to look around. Made it to Coco beach- a beautiful, long, cresent shaped white, fine sand beach with the clearest, blue-green water. Then hit the tiki bar.
Hi Anne! What an adventure! Wind has sure been interesting. We are home and SILVER GIRL is back in Fort Pierce. Long story, mostly weather. Keep safe!!
